India that is Bharat

Introduction

India is also known by different names like Hodu, Tianzhu, Nabhivarsha, Jambudvipa, Aryavarta, Bharat, and Hindustan. India has a long history of Invitations and attacks but in modern History, it was a British East India company that invaded India around 200 years. It was because different kings of princely states were not united. 

Independence

Britain now the world is now witnessing India be independent on August 15, 1947, India got independence everybody was celebrating enjoying but nobody was thought of the nightmare India that is Bharat got divided into two parts India and Pakistan but at that time hopefully, the joy of freedom was more powerful and happier then partition.

Nehru was the first prime minister of independent India. but the real problem occurs when the migration happens lots of people were killed laws of family displace home and the train which nobody gonna forget. At the time Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by Nathuram Godse by a delegation of that who was the real problem of separation.

Constitution 

Indian Constitution was written on 26 January 1950. The day is celebrated in India by the name of Republic day every year by Indians. The India adopted democracy from Britain and continue the rules and regulations of the East India Company even after the Independence.

War

Nobody thought but India fight its first war with Pakistan at the time of independence in Kashmir Pakistan attacked  India through their soldiers in civilian uniform but India also replied and stopped Pakistan army there and it became the LOC Line of Control between India and Pakistan.

Unity

When British left India, India was divided into many princely states More than 600 but it was The Vallabhbhai Patel by which India united Many princely states accepted India and sign the agreement of accession with India.

States

Currently, India is divided into different states as per different languages, cultures, and geography it has around 7 union territories and 28 states. New Delhi city is the capital of India and the business capital of India is the city of Mumbai. The currency of India is Rupees.

Geography

India’s largest state by area is Rajasthan & The smallest state is Goa. India has the largest coastline. India is the only country all over the world that is named after an ocean; the Indian ocean. India also has two islands named Andaman & Nicobar island & Lakshadweep island. There are many languages spoken in India, but Hindi is the national language. Like the languages, India has a huge land diversity with mountains, plateau, plains, delta, desert, rivers, & seas.

Culture

In India, one can see various types of culture, dresses, & people. The famous Himalayas mountain & the largest Ganges delta are situated in India. The peoples of different states eat different food & talk in different languages, and their culture is also different.

Nature and temperature are also different, in the hilly area the temperature is low, in the desert temperature is high, and in the plateau, plane, and seashore area the temperature is pleasant.

The main occupation of India is agriculture. Almost 50 percent of people are involved in agriculture. Three sides of India are surrounded by the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the southwest, and the Bay of Bengal on the southeast, it shares land borders with Pakistan, China, Nepal, and Bhutan to the north; and Bangladesh, and Myanmar to the east. 

Democracy

India is the largest democracy in the world, Citizen of India elects the Prime Minister, minister, decision-maker, MLA, MP, etc. India has a population of around 1.4 billion people on the earth which is around one-sixth of the whole population of the world. India has the youngest population on the earth.  India has many different cultural-religious, castes, etc. 

The National animal of India is The Royal Bengal Tiger, the National Bird of India is Peacock, the National Fruit of India is Mango, the National Flower of India is Lotus, and the name of the national anthem of India is Jana Gana Mana.

Current Government

Currently, India is ruled by BJP prime minister under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In opposition, it has a party in India which is the Congress Party. The next election for the Prime Minister candidate is in 2024.
